Storage Draw Slides
The two draws under the dinette are filled with lots of heavy dishes and food. The draws slide open on a two pieces of oak sliding in an aluminum channel. The weight creates a lot of friction so they are difficult to pull open.

My solution to problem is to use skateboard roller bearings.

Five bearings on each side.

| I built a small jig to ensure the bearings all
had the same drop down from the original oak rail. |

| Used a piece of dowling to hold the bearing in place. |

| Covered the bearing with a piece of plastic so
it would not slide off the dowling. |

| I used a gate lock on the back of each draw so they will
not slide open when we are moving down the highway. |
