Beautiful sunny day at Crystal Mt, great day for a hike. After Wait Wait Hank and I hiked up to lodge and then up the valley to the top of one of the sky runs.
It was nice hike and I can tell I’m getting older.
Last night as it was getting dark I realized we were parked under lights that actually worked.
We move a little further up the area away from the lights.
Spending the weekend at Crystal Mt. in the sun. Silver Spring’s is nice however you are down in the trees and Jean doesn’t get any sun.
Setting at dentist being told my 7:00 a.m. appointment is really at 7:30. Glad they called yesterday to remind me to be on time, not at all happy.
Half way through June already. Weekend of napping at Flagler, site 87.
9:30 p.m. Home, it’s not hot here.
Camp site 14b
at a rest stop in Ontario, Oregon. This is our normal stopping point, 518 miles today and 536 tomorrow. It is still 87° here, A/C will be on for a while. Hank is smiling more in the cooler weather.
Last day of vacation – leave for home at 6:45 a.m.
We are in site 3 and it’s 95.
Current plan is stay here Thursday and leave here early Friday morning.
This is a water tower (?) built by CCC’s.

Didn’t do much today, I’m practicing. Hank and I got up at 5:15 local time and walked up to the boat launch and Lees Ferry buildings. I have pictures on my camera and while post some later.
This is a great site above the Colorado River.
Inside it was 100° and on the picnic table under the metal cover it topped out at 109°.
Goal is to do nothing tomorrow, getting away from the cottonwood at Zion has helped Jean feel better.
