My Life and Travels
Today was rainy and very windy so I spent the day tying flies.

This is site 15 at Ruby Creek BLM Campground.
I got one fish to the net and had 3 more on, the one to the net was this 16 inch rainbow.

We have had a lot of California smoke but nothing like the Garcia’s in Richland and the big house in Emumclaw.
Today we were at air quality of 101, the big house 184 and Garcia’s 383.

These are today’s sunset.

After lunch I went fishing and got 2 to net and 3 on.

Ok, this is a lot of pictures of the same fish, however this is a 19+ inch trout.
Today is moving day. We will run into Ennis: dump, get propane, food and laundry.
On the way to town we’ll stop on Ruby Creek CG to get a site before going into town. We got site 15 again. We will more than likely stay here for 2 weeks.

Fished for a while after we got camp set up, got nothing.
The last couple of days have been smokey. Smoke coming for the California fires.

There are mountains out there.
Well I finally found the fish. They are by a large rock two campsites up the river.
18 fish to the net, another 38 hooked but not to the net, all Mountain Whitefish. This was over the whole day.

This fish is 18 inches. The throat of my net is 15 1/2 inches.

Another 18 inches

This one is 19 inches.

A nice lunch be the river today. I caught 2 rainbows today and had to on. Things are picking up a bit.

12 inches

12 inch Mountain Whitefish
Another cold morning 22 degrees outside. I did catch two 12 inch Mountain Whitefish day.
Cold again this morning 22 degrees outside and only up to 66 today.
One of the things I added to the coach this year is an extended stay propane gas system. This allows us to use an external propane bottle so we don’t have to drive the coach 28 miles into town when we need propane.

The bulk propane we have gone to in the past is closed to fill bottles and RV’s. They have a sign on the door directing people to the grocery store or one of the gas stations for bottle exchange. We went to the gas station and exchanged bottles for $19.99. The guy at the station did say their is another bulk propane place a little further out of town, we try that one the next time we need propane.
Fished in the afternoon and got nothing, oh well.
