We went out to left field and watched Felix warm up.
He got pretty far into center field while throwing it back to his catcher.
Flex came out throwing strikes.

I spent the last 2 1/2 hours updating the blog so here are some motorhome front window pictures from White Tank Mountain.
It is a really nice park. At the entrance to the park is a large County Library where I spent several hours on Tuesday morning updating all the apps on my Ipad.
The rain is gone and today was another beautiful sunny day.

Mariners are 5 and 1 so far in Spring Training.
Today was moving day.
Moved from White Tank Mountain County Park to Cotton Lane RV Resort in Goodyear. Cotton Lane has new owners and they have changed the name looking for new customers. They have added about a dozen new mobile homes to the park.

I did not take my camera because of the forecasted rain. The game was in the second inning when we got to the ball park. Because of the rain forecast they started the game at 12:10 rather than 1:10. The Mariner’s had sent an email at 9:10 a.m. announcing the change however we don’t always see our email, we will be sure to check for announcements the next time the weather is iffy.
The game was called at the top of the eighth and we were way behind.
After the game we did get to have a late lunch with Brian Larson and had a great time.

This is a new scoreboard and they are still learning to use it. The day’s attendance did not get shown, I think it was in the 4,500 range.
After the game we drove out to Tempe and had dinner with Richard and Vickie. They have been in Yuma and were in Phoenix for the weekend and are now on their way to Tuscon.
Today was the first game of Spring Training.

We are at a nice park west of Phoenix and a couple of miles north of Goodyear where we will be for the entire month of March.
When we left Goodyear last Spring I got us a site at the RV Resort in Goodyear for the month of March 2017. When I purchased Spring Training tickets in early December I needed to find a place to stay for the end of February. This is a nice place with well spaced sites and we have a great view of the valley and the city of Phoenix. In 2016 we got here the first of March and only missed the annual charity game, however this year the charity game is 2/25 with games 2/26 and 2/27. In December this park had 7 or 8 sites still available thus here we are for a week.
We are in site 38 until the first.

Same area we where last year at this time. Will move on towards Phoenix tomorrow, baseball starts early this year than last year. First game is Saturday 2/25 last year started 3/1 or 3/2.
