Silver Springs Hike – Saturday July 30, 2011
Hank and I hiked up a trail up the hill across the road. According to GPS we gained 500 ft and came out on the road going to Crystal MT. We walked back by the road.
Hank dug a hole under the picnic table where I was setting.

We’re at Silver Springs on Hwy 410 this weekend and most weekends in August. Jean has already found a mosquito. Hope to do some hiking tomorrow.

Fort Flagler, Last Weekend – July 23, 2011

Zion Natl Park – Sunday June 5, 2011
Last September when we were here Tanya and I took a day hike up the Virgin River. This area is known as the Narrows of the Virgin River. This hike was though the Zion Canyon Field Institute zionpark.org. While we were on the hike Bill Boswell took a group picture and submitted it to the institute to use as they saw fit.
The picture was used for the 2011 counter card to promote the institute’s annual hike schedule.
