Yes we are still at the same rest stop as last night.
Sunday evening when I want out to check the engine oil level I saw brake fluid on the inside of the front tires. The driver’s side had more than the passenger side but the both had fluid on the tire and a small line running down on the rotors.
I looked on the internet for truck / RV repair places and didn’t come up with any place that really stood out. I did find that both Orland and Corning have Les Schwab stores. This morning we drove to the Les Schwab in Corning to have the brakes look at.
The calipers and brake fittings are not leaking, couldn’t find a place where any was coming out. It looks like the guy who did the brake job at Christmas got a lot of brake fluid on the inside of the wheel rim and with the brakes warming up coming down out of the Siskiyou’s this fluid flowed down onto the tire and onto the rotor.
We spent the afternoon at a rest stop north of Corning and are now back at the rest stop south of Corning. Tomorrow (Tuesday 2/13/2018) we will drive to Boron, Ca.
While we were in Corning we did stop at the Olive Pit and purchased a few olives. The Washington delivery will not be made until the end of April, sorry for the delay.
Short travels today.
Campsite.

Campsite

Notice these pickles are a product of India.
Farman’s pickles was started in Enumclaw, Washington. We lived in Enumclaw until I was eight years old and I can remember the smell of pickles and chlorine as we swam in Pete’s Pool. The main road at that edge of town is still called Pickle Factory Road.

They live on a hill and it takes a couple of blocks to get level.

Campsite #H24 same as last year.

We went to dinner with Jim and Edith Inks and had a great time. Jim and I spent a year together in Danang, Vietnam during 1971-72. I am getting old, I left Danang and got out of the Navy 45 year’s ago this month (November).
This wire was cut at one end and hanging by a few stands on the other end. The nickel is for size. This morning we drive to Walmart for groceries and wire to fix the flasher.
The only color Walmart had was red and black, hopefully red will work.
The yellow turn signal wire was broken on both sides of the main frame. It looks like the wire was pinched to cause the separation. The upper picture also shows a green wire with some sharp bends in it where it has been pinched. I don’t see a pinch point where the wire could have been pinched, maybe this happen when the coach was assembled. Don’t know.
Anyway I spliced in a piece red wire and the light on the pickup worked.

The drive.

In site 74.

If you go to the table area and go to the left you’ll see the river.
Today was the first time we had to go to three Campgrounds to find a site. Stopped at Elephant Butte, they had a couple of sites however they were on steep hills. Caballo Lake sites were all full, we found a place at Caballo River Side which is below the dam an right on the Rio Grande River.
