Fishing has been slow:
Tuesday – I got nothing
Wednesday – just to windy to fly fish
Today – I actually got one fish hooked, he got off. The water is a lot lower this time of year and I can actually wade out into the river. The days have been sunny and warm.

Palisades CG, MT – Tuesday September 1, 2020
Our current plan is to be here for a couple of weeks and then move down river 8 miles to Ruby Creek BLM Campground for a couple of weeks.
We are in site 2 and our cell service is bad, better then last year where we only had text. We sometimes get a little internet in the morning.

We are close to the river and sites are spaced out, have been here many times before.
Palisades CG, MT – Monday August 31, 2020
401 miles today to Palisades BLM Campground right on the Madison River. We are in site 2 and will be here for 2 weeks of fishing and sunshine.

Richland, WA – Tuesday June 23, 2020
Got a notice yesterday that the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta has been moved to 2021.

Updated Fiesta count down.

Richland Wa, Wednesday June 17, 2020
We are at the Garcia’s for the next month. Tri-cities area is still in phase 1 of the Covid so the RV park is still on restricted usage. We are lucky because we already had reservations for a month. The original was to be here so Mike and Tanya could fly back east to one of Mike’s shipmates wedding on June 19. The wedding got canceled but we kept the month long reservations. You can stay at the park for one night or for over 30 nights. In phase one Covid their is no recreational camping in the area. Thus we’ll be here for a while.

Santiam River Rest Stop, OR – Monday May 4, 2020
Today’s drive:

We have stayed here before going both north and south. With all the Oregon State Parks closed we didn’t have a lot of choices.
410 miles today.
Corning, CA – Sunday May 3, 2020
Today was the long drive so we were up early and rolling at 6:00 a.m. Got here at the rest stop just north of Corning at 4:00 p.m. with 490 miles.
Gas pricing Bakersfield: February $3.20. May $2.30
Dunnigan: February $2.94. May $2.54

The only place we had traffic was between Stockton and Sacramento. The traffic in downtown Sacramento was wide open with a little congestion by the airport then wide open again. Monday looks to be 400 miles.
Boron, AZ – Saturday May 2, 2020
We got an early start out of Quartzsite this morning. We had wheels rolling at 6:00 a.m. I wanted to get north of Joshua Tree National Park and on our way to Barstow before it got hot. I don’t really like to over working the coach by driving in really hot weather. Quartzsite and Palm Spring are going to get back to 100 and Boron is getting to 82.
We got gas at the AZ-CA boarder in February for $2.70 and in May for $1.80.
Here is today’s drive and tonight stopping point the Boron Rest Stop, 296 miles.

Tomorrow will be the long drive to Northern California.
Quartzsite, AZ – Friday May 1, 2020
Another warm day in the desert, this will be our last hot day for a while. At this point we don’t really know what our spring, summer and fall travels will look like, or much traveling at all.

A bad accident on I-10 this morning so dropped down south a little to miss it.

Same spot as always.
Goodyear, AZ – Thursday April 30, 2020
Tomorrow we are heading north to the big house and cooler weather. Highs here have been over 100 for the last several days and or going to stay that away until September. Phoenix get 110 days with temperatures over 100.

Did I just get caught?

Yes you did.

The next question is has she done this before and does she know how to get down?
