Ranger Creek – Thursday July 23, 2015

Stayed around camp all day. Worked on photos for a while and than worked on Photo Elements 10 lessens in the evening.  I purchases a Lynda.com DVD a couple of years ago and I have started to work back through this course.

We did have 4 Chinook helicopter visit.
Here you can see the pilot.

One of the crew member’s waved to Jean.
I still don’t understand why they have to kick up so much dust.  If he would stay 25 feet higher there wouldn’t be any dust.

Home – Wednesday January 28, 2015

I have not updated the blog’s theme (the way it looks) since it was started in 2010.  I am now using theme named ” 2014 “.  I will be adding some of the new features of this theme as soon as I figure them out.   To start with this theme allows for multiple headers which will be displayed in a random sequence.

Sand Hallow – Tuesday September 10, 2013

I’m setting out on the picnic table which has a nice sun cover.  It is doing a good job of keeping the rain off me and the table.
We have decided to move north tomorrow in hopes of finding sun.  The forecast for this area is clouds and rain for the next several days (including RIGHT now).  Going to C J Strike Dam south of Mountain Home, Idaho the weather forecast is at least more positive.

Crystal Mt. – Sunday August 18, 2013

Woke to a sunny cooler morning. Having our regular morning, coffee and Bailey’s with Andes’ chocolate. We plan to hike up the right side of the valley.

Here is a great picture Don took during the lighting storm last weekend. It was posted on weather.com.

This is the second post for today, Hank & I hiked up right side of the valley under The gondola.

High point.

Distance is plus a mile, the road is rocky and I was getting concern about Hank’s feet.

This sign is at the start of the road going up hill, and it is up.
